What makes your products SPECIAL?
Answer: Several thousand years of tradition and many years of farming have taught us a lot - we continue to learn daily and really love what we do. Native foods are our passion.
- Are your products organic and non-GMO -
Answer: Our products are non-GMO - we use our own heirloom seed stock which is not genetically modified and we grow our food crops without pesticides or herbicides. We do not sell or claim our food products as being organic.
- WHY does shipping seem so expensive?
Answer: Products ship by weight and box dimension - we are selling specialty bulk food products. Most of the products prepare more than a meal per package too. We do not mark up the shipping OR add a handling charge. You may get a less expensive shipping option by using the freight dropdown and picking USPS priority flat rate shipping. See more information in the ANSWER to the question how is your shipping calculated (below)! The most accurate place to estimate your shipping cost is in your shopping cart. The lowest priced shipping option is the Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box.
Any order for the following - Two of our 8 oz pinoles or ga'ivsa or huun ga'i -or- two 1 lb bags of our tepary -or- one of our 2 lb tepary will fit in a priority mail small flat rate box.
-What PAYMENT METHODS are available?
Answer: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept Cash in our office location in Sacaton, or Check or Money Order for mail orders. Print your order from your cart and mail in with a check or a money order and we will process the order for you. You can also contact us to do a phone order.
- I can't find where to enter my key code, source code, promo code, discount code!
Answer: When you click on your shopping cart icon you will see the following - this is where you enter your code! This is at the top of the cart just above the list of items you are purchasing. This is also the best place to estimate your shipping cost.
-What is your RETURN POLICY?
Answer: Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, If for any reason you are not satisfied, please call our customer service department at 520-418-0900 or email us at email@example.com within 30 days to arrange a return, replacement or refund. If the order is returned because a customer has changed their mind about the purchase we do not pay for the return shipping or the original shipping cost. We will refund 100% of the product purchase price.
-How do I know my ORDER was SUBMITTED?
Answer: After you Checkout, you will receive an auto-generated order confirmation e-mail (make sure to provide your correct email address).

-HOW LONG will it take to get my my order?
Answer: Orders normally ship from our warehouse within 24 to 48 hrs. Milled products may take a little longer - they are milled to order.
Domestic orders will usually arrive within 1-5 business days (depending on where you live).
- How is your SHIPPING CALCULATED? We are currently only shipping via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate! Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to make special arrangements.
Answer: It is not like shipping clothing - carriers charge by box dimension and weight. Our online prices reflect a dscounted price to assist with freight costs for our online customers. When shipping USPS Priority Mail shipping is calculated on what will fit in each of the 3 box sizes available. If shipping across several zones (example West Coast to East Coast) then USPS Flat Rate Priority is the best method for the customer and is cheaper than UPS ground and shipping time is 2 days on priority mail versus up to 5 business days across country via UPS. We are currently only shipping online orders via Priority Mail. If shipping regionally within the western US then UPS may be cheaper and possibly faster though it is also based on weight and dimension. Our advice is to look at all the methods available in the checkout and select the one that is most economical for you. We do not charge any handling over and above the actual shipping charge.
